McGuigan Black Label Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir

This wine was produced from grapes grown in the Central Region of New South Wales, which is generally cool, providing ideal growing conditions and a resultant base wine with distinctive varietal character. Subtle use of oak has also accentuated the richness of the wine, giving additional complexity. Chardonnay grapes were machine-harvested at night and processed reductively with minimal skin contact. The resultant juice received a light fining to remove phenolic material and was then filtered into a stainless steel tank for fermentation. Post-fermentation, the wine was stabilised then re-fermented using the Charmat process, generating natural C02 prior to bottling.

Introducing a new look and new style, the McGuigan Black Label Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot has never looked or tasted better. The classic sparkling grapes of chardonnay and pinot noir were carefully selected and blended specifically for this wine. Using these two varieties has added complexity and depth to the wine while still maintaining impressive fruit flavours.
