Offering the best from this beautiful yet tantalisingly obscure Portuguese island, H&H is the third largest producer in Madeira and significantly the one with the greatest holding of their own vineyards. Established in 1850, the company has a rich history and an admirable knowledge of its art. Award-winning winemaker Luis Pereira has created wines that epitomise the venerable antiquity of the island yet manage to capture the essence of modernity so relevant to today’s drinker. His respect for tradition is borne out across the range and it is with great pleasure that we offer some rare single vintages this year in very limited quantities.
A dark, full - bodied, fruity, luscious, fragrant sipping wine. This 'malmsey - style' of wine is best served as a dessert wine.
