Abbot Ale

Abbot Ale

Greene King first brewed Abbot Ale during the 1950s and its popularity has never waned. Indeed, it was recently named as one of the top 10 ales that licensees would most like to stock.

Full flavoured, smooth tasting and mature. Masses fo ripe fruit characters, a malty richness and superb hop balance. The floral notes and fruity esters come from the revered Fuggles hop, used to add roundness and fullnessto the palate. These dark and delicious flavours develop as a result of an unusually long fermentation.

Crabbie's Ginger Beer

Crabbie's Ginger Beer

Made from a unique recipe, Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer has 4 top secret ingredients.
We combine these with steeped ginger, which we still ship all the way from the Far East, just as the first Scots Merchant Adventurers did all those years ago. That explains the Elephant Trademark old chap! At Crabbie’s, we do things by the book – no shortcuts for us old chap! Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer is brewed for 8 long weeks to produce its deep, deliciously spicy flavour. Top marks! Some say that Ginger offers a cure for sea sickness. Others suggest it is an aphrodisiac. Steady on! With centuries of experience behind us and using only the finest products, all we can say is that the uniquely refreshing sparkle of Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer speaks for itself.

We use real steeped ginger all the way from the Far East, then we take 8 long weeks to brew our top secret ingredients and steeped ginger blend to achieve the deliciously quaffable deep spicy flavour. Crabbie's is best served chilled, poured over a glass of ice, topped with a slice of lemon

Greene King IPA

Greene King IPA

Award-winning Greene King IPA is a great-tasting beer, loved by drinkers across the world. This hoppy, refreshing beer is brewed in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, in the heart of Suffolk, where brewing has been an important part of the town's history even as far back as 1086 when brewing in the town was recorded in the Domesday Book. Greene King IPA is characterised by its fresh, hoppy taste and clean, bitter finish. Despite the simplicity of the ingredients - barley, water, yeast and hops - its in the creation of the recipe that the skill of the master brewer lies. And here's the real secret of our success. We can turn those basic ingredients into some of the best cask ales available today - each with its own individual flavour, aroma, colour and characteristics.

The beer's hoppy taste and aroma comes from two varieties of English hops, which are combined with pale and crystal malts. Greene King IPA is a great beer to enjoy particularly with certain foods such as curry, Mexican and other spicy food. But it's equally enjoyable on it's own.
